Please read these terms carefully before using InnerSight. They govern your use of our AI-powered journaling service.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using InnerSight ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Important: These terms apply to all users of InnerSight, including both free and premium subscribers.

InnerSight is an AI-powered journaling application that provides:

Subscription & Billing
Free Tier
InnerSight is free to download and use. Free users receive 3 Auto Updates per calendar month. Once the limit is reached, Auto Updates are unavailable until the following month or until you upgrade to Pro.
InnerSight Pro — Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of InnerSight Pro. The trial begins the moment you confirm your subscription in the App Store. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your payment method will be charged the subscription price and the subscription will auto-renew.
Auto-Renewal
InnerSight Pro subscriptions (monthly and annual) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscription prices may change; you will be notified in advance of any price increase.
Payment & Cancellation
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information. To cancel your subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name → Subscriptions
- Select InnerSight and tap Cancel Subscription
Cancelling stops future charges. You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to process refunds directly.
User Responsibilities
Account Security
- • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- • Use strong, unique passwords
- • Enable two-factor authentication when available
Appropriate Use
- • Use the service for personal journaling and reflection
- • Respect the privacy and rights of others
- • Do not share login credentials with others
- • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Prohibited Activities
- • Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the service
- • Using the service for illegal activities
- • Sharing harmful, abusive, or threatening content
- • Attempting to access other users' data
AI Service Limitations

AI Accuracy: While our AI strives for accuracy, insights may not always be perfect or applicable to your specific situation.
Crisis Support: If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a mental health professional immediately.
Professional Help: InnerSight complements but does not replace professional mental health services.
Data Ownership and Privacy
Your Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of your journal entries and personal content. We do not claim ownership of your thoughts, reflections, or personal data.
Service License
You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing AI insights and improving the service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

Service Availability
Uptime and Maintenance
We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice to users.
Limitation of Liability
InnerSight is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Account Termination
Voluntary Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, you can export your data for 30 days before it's permanently deleted.
Involuntary Termination
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or pose security risks. We'll provide notice when possible.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where InnerSight is incorporated. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Terms Updates
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and through the app. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
